Csuvery protests spill over to Bangalore

Gathering momentum Caurvey related protests today spilled over to the city on a large scale ,disrupting normal life even as the government braced for the @"Karnataka bandh"called for tomorrow by Kannada outfits to protest the released of water to Tamil nadu The stir,hitherto confined to Monday and other Cauvery basin district s.spread to the country s it capital, with Kannada organization holding a spate of protest.
Shops and business established  in several areas  downed shutters and the rallies held in different parts of the city virtually choked off vehicular movements. Protests entered the sixth day in the cauvery basin areas ,as a central government team visited Krishna raja  sagor and kabini dams, from which water is being released and some parts of the river basin to assess the water situation.
Central water commission  officer K C Jacob  ,who is a psrt of the   delegation,told reporters in mysore  that the team will submit its finding to the prime minister by 7october .Chief minister jagadish Shetter said the  state counsel to day appeared before the superme court on its plea seeking review of the 19 September Caurvry river  Authority order ,asking Karnataka to released 9000 causes till 1,
The court has agreed to hear  the  pitition ,he said  adding the state has also field an interim   application seeking stay on the CRA order and praying for its  modifications , I hope the people of karnataka will get justice,,
Several religious leader, including balgangadhar nath  swamigi ,a such inch a nagari mutt of the vokkaliga community jumped into the  stir ,taking part in the protest in the city.
Influential pejawar mutt head viewed hat he ertha swamiiji demanded that all minister and mla  resign in  karnataka and take a delegations to the prime minister.
With several Kannada outfit s calling a statewide  bandh  , security has been  beefed up with 80000 police and other personal being deployed  additional director general of police .
